myers-briggs personality test
personality tests are all over the internet testing everything from color choices to palm reading. one of the very few personality tests that are legitamatly made by trait theorist psychologists is the myers-briggs made by karl jung a student of sigmund freud. while no trait test is truly accurate unless administerd by an actual psychologist one of the more acurate tests is found here
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp
generally speaking it tests four things
how you interact with people, how you gather information from the outside world, how you consider information, and how you deal with the outside world.
the test info shows something like this for how you interact with people.
Introvert vs. Extrovert introverts generaly are the loners prefering to relax alone than with others and are the type to be quite though not neccesarily shy. extroverts tend to think out loud and be those that prefer relaxing at a party.
Sensing vs. iNtuitive somthing along the lines of the do you see the forest or the trees question sensing types are more literal put your toys away means put your toys away. intuitives are figuritive seeing more what does it mean more than what was literally said put your toys away brings up questions of what away is.
Thinking vs. Feeling this one is kind of obvious though feeling doesnt really mean emotional more along the lines of thinking subjectivly where thinking types think objectivly better descriptions will be in the link i provide later on.
Judging vs. Percieving this is the diffrence between the person who scheduals every second (judging) and the impulsive go by the moment type (percieving)
if you see yourself as a mix its alright everyone is some mix between those traits the test at the link determines percent compatability showing how much you are for each trait.
if you already figured out which you are and you take the letters that were caped on each trait you had (for instance im intp) you get your type the following link describes each type more sceintificaly

and a totally humorous one that doesnt have any scientific base
